4th Annual "Get Social For A Good Cause" Event
Get Social for a Good Cause
The Caritas Communities’ Young Leaders Group is pleased to invite you to join us for the 4th Annual “Get Social for a Good Cause” networking event to raise awareness and funds on behalf of Caritas residents.
We are calling all young professionals to join us for a night of cocktails and networking on the Boston waterfront in support of this important nonprofit. At Caritas, we believe secure housing, support and a sense of community are the foundation of human dignity and lead to healthy and productive lives. For 32 years, Caritas has provided safe, permanent housing for very low income individuals living in Greater Boston.

TOURS OF BUILDING AND UNITS
Cortes Street offers forty (40) totally rehabilitated units located in the Bay Village.
All 40 residents are BHA Priority One placements arriving straight from homelessness. Under Caritas Communities’ leadership, these four brownstones have been completely transformed from SROs to 32 units with private baths and kitchens and eight rooms with private baths and shared kitchens.
Project Place, our partner in this effort, is providing outreach and training to the residents. Project Place is a pre-eminent, non-profit organization that provides employment opportunities to the homeless through a variety of successful programs including the well-respected Clean Corners Program in Boston’s Downtown Shopping District.
