Tom Nee
Senior Operations Director
Tom is one of Caritas’s longest-serving employees, having started almost 30 years ago as the Director of Property Management. He was interviewed and hired by Caritas founder P. Leo Corcoran in March of 1992 and was among only 3 or 4 employees in his first few years. Tom recalls spending Friday afternoons preparing his weekly report to be delivered to P. Leo at his Milton office.
Tom believes affordable housing can be a core foundation for future success and opportunities. His experience includes participating in the acquisition, development, leasing, and management of multilayered financed projects. He has experience working on projects involving DHCD, HUD, LIHTC, HOME, HIF, HSF, and NSC funding. Tom has his CPM (Certified Property Manager) designation through the Institute for Real Estate Management, is a current member of CHAPA, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College.
Tom volunteers as a board member of the Housing Corporation of Arlington. He and his wife Maureen are the proud parents of three sons and they spend a lot of their free time watching them play hockey.
